The Mackay Marina Run is one of the Mackay region's premier sporting events and a major running event for regional Queensland. Distances include half marathon, 8km, 5km and 3km.
While the event has its genesis with Mackay Road Runners who are the primary organisers, the event has links within the local community including the Mackay West Rotary club and the local branch of the Leukaemia Foundation who are the major beneficiaries of the significant fundraising efforts that are embodied in the event.
